This is the second edition to my three part "Blood Rose" series,

I was experementing with water because i'd seen it used effectively before. I really like this "raindrop" effect and I was impressed by the way it turned out in this pic. I also like the contrast in this shot, the colours are balanced out with the the green of the rose stalk and the red on the rose, which are both covered in the glistening water drops . I particularly like the composition of this shot, with the one rose in the front - and the two roses behind it as well as the water around them

I was also pleased with the clarity in this pic - it came out really clear (it must have been in the ideal range for the macro function on my camera). One could almost think that it was taken on a digital SLR camera.

I think the drops might have a little too much contrast, but otherwise it's a nice capture. Good enough to catch my eye while browsing :-p

I think it looks really pretty. The light really compliments the red of the rose and the raindrops give it a more kind of life like appeal to it.

The focus and texture of this shot is beautiful. It's very moody for roses, which is very cool.
